MAKING A RESERVATION
The reservation should be sent by fax, mail, or e-mail to:

The reservation is valated only if you have received a confirmation of Cruises Halong and upon your payment of deposit
Amendments to your reservation must be notified to and agreed by Cruises Halong
CANCELLATIONS AND CANCELLATION FEES
All cancellations must be received in writing, sent to us via fax or email. You do not have to pay any cancellation fee if you cancel your reservation more than 15-days before the check-in date. Only an administration fee of US$ 5.00 apply.
Otherwise, if you cancel your reservations 15-days or less to the check-in date, the cancellation fee equivalent to your reservation value of 01-night is charged due to hotel charges we incur for guest no shows.
One child under 6 years is generally granted a reduction of 50% of the tour price, proved that he/she is accompanied by at least two full paying adults and stays in the same room. An extra bed is proved free of charge.
A deposit of 30% of the tour price per person is required upon confirmation of your booking. (If this amount is less than $100, a $100 per person deposit will apply). Once a deposit is received it is understood that you have read, understood and accepted all our Terms and Conditions. The remaining balance of the tour price (70%) is due upon arrival in Vietnam, payable at one of our office in Hanoi or the others appointed in the confirmation
1. Pay Online
First Choice accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB card. This is FAST and SECURED.
Please be advised that there is a surcharge of 3.5 % for the bank fee.
First Choice has the representative of the MaterCard Internet Gateway Service (MiGS) in Vietnam. All credit card details are processed by First Choice in a secure environment. Your card information will be protected during the transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL/168 bit) software, which encrypts the information that you provide online. MiGS payment system meet PCI Data Security Standard of PCI Security Standards Council (http://www.pcisecuritystandards.org). MiGS payment system also joins 3DSecure program of Visa, MasterCard and JCB.
2. By Letter of Authorization
First Choice accepts VISA, Master Card. Please be advised that there is a surcharge of 3.5 % for Visa and Master card payment. Kindly follow the following instructions to complete the payment process. After receiving your, we will send you an invoice for your accounting purpose by fax or email.
Print out the " Form of Authorization Letter " and fill out all required information.
Please enclose : one copy paper of the credit card both sides and one copy of the passport ( first page) with entity and photo
Please fill out the CVV / CVC code which are the three digits on the back of your credit card.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
We will confirm your booking once we get your deposit
Cancellations by us
We reserve the right to cancel your booking under some unavoidable circumstances. If we cancel your booking, you can either get a refund or accept an alternative from us of equivalent or similar standard and price, if one is available, and we will always refund the difference in price if the alternative is of a lower standard and price.
Changes by us
We try to avoid making any “major changes” to your booking. If we tell you about any of these changes after we confirm your booking, you can either accept these new arrangements or accept an alternative from us of equivalent or closely similar standard and price, if one is available, and we will always refund the difference in price if the substitution is of a lower standard and price.
Cancellations by you
Requests for cancellation of confirmed bookings must be made in writing and will be subject to the following cancellation fees:
• Cancellation is made within 14 days prior to the date of your arrival, deposit is fully refunded but is subject to US$ 30 for administration fees, bank service charge or other cost necessary to put the refunding process forward.
• Cancellation is made within less than 14 days prior to the date of your arrival, deposit is fully forfeited due to the penalty by the hotels or other services suppliers we incur.
• There is no refund or reduction being made for parts or items(meals, sightseeing points, etc) of the program missed by any member of GROUP/F.I.T.
Changes by you
• Amendment report must be sent to us via email or fax, at least 10 working days prior to your arrival date.
• We will advise the availability and possible amendment fees for changes made by you to your confirmed booking at the time when we receive the amendment report. However, we will not take any extra fees for those changes if no extra cost arises from them.
No refunds or exchanges can be made with respect to accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, included in the tour price, but not utilized by the tour members.
Travel documents will be compiled after the deposit has been received and are sent two or three weeks prior to departure. These documents will be sent via email, and should be printed out by participants and retained as a receipt.
All possible care is taken to ensure that our suppliers maintain the highest possible standards. However, we are not responsible in any way for problems, however they arise, that result from the booking of services we do not directly control.
First Choice, affiliated companies, servants or agents shall not be responsible or become liable in contract or tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay to person or property, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly due to any events beyond our control.
This information is valid at the time of publication but is subject to change without prior notice. However, should any changes occur, they will be posted on the website immediately. However, should the Terms and Conditions change after the deposit is paid, the Terms and Conditions under which the deposit was paid shall apply.
