Travel NewsCulture guidesGeneral guidesTourist attractions

The Dalat Flower Festival 2010 kicked off in the city’s flower garden in the central province of Lam Dong on January 1, attracting the participation of about 20,000 domestic and foreign visitors.

The event drew 85 businesses and flower and plant associations from all over the country and nearly 10 foreign countries including the Netherlands, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Thailand and Taiwan.

Over 10,000 floral creations and nearly 2,000 kinds of flowers were displayed at the festival. Visitors had opportunities to buy flowers and plants with attractive prices.

The festival is a cultural exchange activity and a chance for domestic and foreign businesses to meet, swap experiences and sign economic contracts.
