Chaozhou Chinese Congregation
The Chaozhou Chinese in Hoi An built the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation in 1776. Some outstanding woodcarvings are on the beams, walls and altar. On the doors in front of the altar are carvings of two Chinese girls wearing their hair in a Japanese style.
