A gala night under the theme of “Proud of Hanoi” took place in Paris, France on October 8, with the participation of 80 Vietnamese young people from cities and provinces across this foreign country.
The event was organised by the General Union of Vietnamese in France (UGVF) in coordination with the Union of Vietnamese Students in France (UEVF) and the Union of Vietnamese Youth in France (UJVF), with the assistance of the Vietnamese embassy and the Vietnamese Culture Centre in France.
The gala night was divided into three parts, including Old Thang Long, Hanoi-Struggle for Freedom and Independence, and Hanoi-City for Peace and National Construction.
Under the framework of the event, the UEVF called for donations from benefactors to assist flood victims in Vietnam’s central region.
